Moving day in Paris

July 27th--We sadly said our goodbyes to the Jaye's as they left Paris around 9:30 this morning. Luckily, we didn't have a lot of time to be sad because we had an apartment to get all cleaned up and our bags to pack by noon. We had rented a bigger apartment up until today. We had decided that we didn't need a 4 bedroom apartment for the 4 of us. The family we rented the 4 bedroom from had a 1 bedroom right next door. So luckily, we didn't have to move far at all. We got settled into our new apartment a little after noon and decided to go find something to eat for lunch. After lunch, we went to the grocery store to pick up food for the remainder of the week. It was after 2:00 by the time we got back here. The kids settled into watching a movie while Mike went to Hertz to see about renting a car for tomorrow. It didn't take him that long before he was back. The kids and I left him here working on the blog while we walked over to the Galerie Lafayette, a local shopping mall. We weren't gone that long because it was just a mall. I certainly am not shopping for clothes. Today was a good day to take it easy because it rained off and on; plus we needed a day to rest.
